Aquatic Exercise

Exercising in water is a great way to get into shape without the aches and pains that land-based workouts can cause. When submerged, your chances of injury decrease significantly because 90% of your body weight is supported by water. Plus exercising in water, unlike on land, offers resistance in all directions, providing you with twice the workout in half the time while simultaneously preventing you from overheating. You simply adjust the temperature of your Aquatic Fitness System to fit your workout needs.

Regular swimming builds endurance, muscle strength, and cardiovascular fitness. It's a relaxing activity that strengthens and tones your entire body with minimal impact on your joints.

Walk / Run
Wear your adjustable HydroSport body belt with tensor cords attached & begin exercising as part of your circuit training program. Walk, jog, run, or do aqua aerobics; face into the jet current, which you control, for added resistance; easily tailor your workouts to your exercise goals.

Hanging on to a bar to stretch is not cheating! AFS is equipped with a series of mounts that you can use to install stationary exercise bars. Water Yoga anyone? Exercise physiologists recommend stretching before & after workouts. AFS's warm water increases blood flow & mobility for a better stretch.

One of the best ways to increase your overall strength - especially for shoulders & back - is by rowing. It's also extremely effective for overall cardiovascular fitness. Oars, several multiple-length tensor cords and everything you need are provided in your HydroSport Gear. You can also hook up tensor cords to mounts behind you to do bench presses; add more tensor cords for increased resistance.

Increase muscle strength & definition by hooking up the tensor cords to your fitness bar, "D" handles or ankle cuffs, all included in your HydroSport Gear. This equipment is the water-proof version of the same equipment used in gyms for lat pull downs, triceps, biceps, & many other muscle groups.
